LABEL DESCRIPTION
- Standard Labels are peel and stick 3.25 inches tall
by 4 inches wide. Non-standard size labels can also be printed for the same price
as long as your specified dimensions are within the the 3.25X4
(Note:4" tall by 3.25" wide is acceptable). Specifying labels sizes larger than
3.25X4 will result in additional charges depending on the size desired.
We are extremely flexible in label design and some of your questions
may need to be addressed by email correspondence.
CHOOSING
A LABEL DESIGN - Various links (top of each page) go
to pages that show examples of labels for the category chosen. Many categories
have examples that are generic and you may simply order a certain number
of those labels just by filling in the label number on the order form.
All labels (including the generic labels) can have custom text added to
them, and all labels can have the graphic replaced with a different graphic.
The only exception to this are a few personalized examples (
shown with an 'X' such as X001, X002, etc) that are displayed just to show
you the capabilities of certain features. You may include your own graphics/photos
via email or snail-mail (we scan).
SHIPPING/HANDLING
- Orders will be shipped within 1-3days following receipt
depending on the complexity of the order.
We pay all S&H charges for labels orders. Add $14.95 for overnight
delivery orders. .
PERSONAL USE-If
you are using your label for your own personal use then legally you can do
whatever you want with Cider and Wine bottles including scraping off the
manufacturer's label (verified with WA State liquor board). However, we do not
recommend this since Manufacturers deserve the respect of leaving their labels
on, and for safety concerns, alcoholic content and warning labels should never
be removed from alcoholic beverages.
GIFTS-For
business use in terms of giving out a bottle as a complimentary or corporate
gift - Martinelli says this is acceptable for their cider provided that
their labels are not removed or covered in any way. All bottles shown on
Sandpiper's pages are Martinelli Apple Cider bottles with labels attached
to the back side such that Martinelli's labels are fully visible from the
front side. Wine bottles given as gifts still fall within the personal
use category but you must now be concerned with liability with your recipient
just as you would be with giving a bottle of wine without a personalized
label, and therefore should ensure all required labels (per your state liquor
board) are fully visible. This will require you to shop for a wine that
only has a label on one side (many are available). Again it is common courtesy
to give the winery credit for their product and this is another reason
for leaving their label visible. If you are already giving out complimentary
wine then you have probably already checked your state's liquor board to
find out if a liquor license is required for this purpose.
RESALE
- Martinelli does not have a problem with resale of their cider with the
same stipulations mentioned above about their labels. Alcoholic beverages on the other
hand now fall within the realms of your state's liquor board and many states
(including WA) require labels to be approved.
